The mission of the Chemical Informatics Center (CIC) is to foster
basic and applied research in the field of chemical informatics. The CIC is affiliated with the Informatics Research Institute. Activities of the CIC include:
1) Coordinating projects of affiliated faculty research groups
2) Developing Web sites and tools
3) Assisting with the joint Department of Chemistry/School of Library and Information Science MLS/MIS Chemical Information Specialist program
