The Center is involved with the investigation of sound and acoustics and the realization of computer-generated compositions based on the results of such research. The Center is composed of two studios that house state-of-the-art digital synthesis and recording equipment, as well as the most recent computer technology. Both IU faculty and students have access to the facility. The Center has a concert of works produced each year during the spring semester.
