The Bradford Woods Outdoor Center is a 2500 acre leadership development center that provides residential environmental education, challenge education, and camping programs. It conducts professional development courses, conferences, and retreats. Bradford Woods is a unit of the Department of Recreation and Park Administration in the School of HPER. Faculty and staff conduct field-based research on a variety of outdoor resource management issues and on the impact of outdoor programming on participants. (Est. 1938)
